Newcastle singer-songwriter Chloe Gill has unveiled a powerful new single, Something In The Winter, a track born from the emotional journey of receiving a late ADHD diagnosis at the age of 20.

Reflective and deeply personal, the song explores the bittersweet revelations that came with learning more about how their mind works, unpacking past relationships and life events through a new lens.

The track marks a shift toward a fuller, more expansive sound, drawing inspiration from artists like Gang of Youths and Maggie Rogers.

Long rooted in folk and folk-rock, Chloe has continued to collaborate with producer Gareth Hudson of Hazy Cosmic Jive, crafting music that’s rich in feeling while remaining authentically their own.

This Sunday, a special launch event will be held at The Lass in Newcastle to celebrate the release. It’s a free show featuring supports including local favourite ChaiChester and Sydney-based duo Allibi.

Chloe Gill will celebrate her brand new song Something In The Winter at The Lass on Sunday, 27 April 2025, while also raising awareness for ADHD in females across Australia.
