Fit For An Autopsy are set to bring their crushing brand of metal back to Newcastle, announcing a massive Australian tour for January 2026.

The New Jersey heavyweights will headline King St Bandroom with Bodysnatcher (USA), Newcastle’s own Volatile Ways, and Pain Body also on the bill for a night of unrelenting heavy music.

The announcement comes as Fit For An Autopsy release their new standalone single It Comes For You.

The blistering track blends the band’s earlier sound with the sharpened production and songwriting that has become their trademark, recorded at Graphic Nature Audio with guitarist Will Putney overseeing production.

Accompanied by a visual from Channel 13 Productions, the single sets the tone for the ferocity fans can expect on stage.

By the time the tour hits Australia, Fit For An Autopsy will be armed with their seventh album The Nothing That Is.

Released in 2024, the album delivers a raw and uncompromising message about humanity’s descent into a dystopian existence, combining aggression with layered textures and dynamics.

With over 15 years of relentless live performance behind them, the band continue to evolve while cementing their place among modern metal’s most respected names.

Joining them is Florida’s Bodysnatcher, whose punishing sound has earned them a reputation as one of the most brutal acts in heavy music.

Adding a local edge to the lineup is Newcastle’s own Volatile Ways. Bursting onto the scene with their uncompromising beatdown deathcore, they’ve quickly become a rising force in Australia’s heavy music circuit.

They’ll be joined by Pain Body, Human Warfare’s newest signing, who made waves with their debut single Hymns of Melancholy.

Fit For An Autopsy will bring their Australian tour to King St Bandroom in Newcastle on Friday, 16 January 2026. Pre-sale tickets open on Wednesday, 10 September, with general sale from Thursday, 11 September via humanwarfare.net.
