The Museum of Art and Culture, yapang will celebrate the work of outstanding HSC Visual Arts students when this year’s First Class 21 exhibition kicks off later this month.

Now in its fourteenth year, the annual exhibition showcases artworks produced by students from the Hunter and Central Coast regions.

It aims to give young artists the chance to present their artwork within a gallery environment and to a wide audience.

The show will be officially opened with a free event on Sunday 27 February from 2 pm with plenty of live music, food and wine.

Art lovers are invited to bring a picnic rug, chill out with some live music, grab a bite from local food trucks and enjoy a drink from the pop-up bar.

The event will give people the opportunity to meet the artists and browse the Youth Artisan Markets.
