American rockers, Goo Goo Dolls will bring their Australian tour to Newcastle in February 2025.
Since forming in 1986 the multi-platinum hit-makers have sold 15 million records around the world and continue to churn out the bangers.
Their biggest hit, Iris, went viral on TikTok recently, and the track re-entered the Billboard charts, taking its status to eight times platinum.
The band will celebrate their most iconic years with a limited-edition silver vinyl release of Greatest Hits Volume 1 – The Singles.
This 14-track album captures the essence of the band’s rise in the alternative rock scene from 1995 to 2006, featuring fan favourites like Name, Slide, Iris, and Black Balloon. Spanning hits from albums including A Boy Named Goo, Dizzy Up the Girl, Gutterflower, and Let Love In, this collection highlights a transformative period that solidified the Goo Goo Dolls as a cornerstone of ’90s and early 2000s rock.
The tour’s Telstra Plus member pre-sale for the show in Newcastle kicks off at 9am on Wednesday, 6 November, with the general public on-sale starting at 10am on Monday, 11 November.
The band will be supported by Aussie favourites, Thirsty Merc.
