Calls for accountability from Australian football bosses have been loud, and from many quarters, following the explosive claims of Matilda’s legend Lisa De Vanna.
President of Women in Football (and former head of Corporate and Public Affairs for the FFA and football whistleblower) Bonita Mersiades is calling for a fully independent probe into the claims.
Bonita also praised the bravery of Lisa De Vanna, fellow former Matilda’s Elissia Carnavas (nee Canham) and Novocastrian Rhali Dobson.
