There’s a real vibe going on inside this new Pacific Street restaurant.
ON THE MENU
On the menu is a healthy selection of American comfort food. We’re talking things like jambalaya, cheese steak, chicken and waffles, sandwiches and burgers.
We shared some vegetarian nachos, fries and a plate of the Falcon’s (soon to be famous) buffalo hot wings. And for an early evening nosh over a couple of drinks, it really hit the spot.
The nachos were packed full of flavour and came with a healthy dose of jalapenos, the chips were as they are meant to be (ask for some of the house made BBQ sauce on the side) and the wings were plump, HOT and cooked perfectly.
AT THE BAR
The Falcon’s cocktail menu isn’t huge, but there are some pretty special concoctions being made, using some top-shelf ingredients. The Finfik Margaritas we had were really something else. Multiple layers of flavour made with reposado tequila and served with a seaweed garnish.
For the beer drinkers, there’s Young Henry’s and The Grifter on tap and a selection of bottles and tins. The vino lovers are also taken good care of with bottles from Margen, Krinklewood and Iron Bark Hill.
WHAT WE SPENT
Our margaritas were $16 each and the starters we ate were all under $16 each with a bowl of fries for $10. If you’re having a main you’re looking at about $25 and the burgers and sandwiches are under $20.
