They say you need passion and drive to make it in the music biz. Well Ezekiel Ox has both…in spades.
Over the past two decades, Ezekiel has carved out quite the niche for himself as one of the most dynamic frontmen in the country, lending his formidable vocal talents to the likes of Mammal, Superheist, The Ox and the Fury, Full-Scale, The Nerve, Over Reactor and more recently his solo rock outfit EOX.
Well, Ezekiel will be headed back to Newcastle in September for what promises to be one heck of a show at the Wickham Park Hotel.
Check out Ezekiel Ox’s Megalomania below
The EP bristled with Ezekiel’s uncompromising vocal delivery while revelling in an undeniably renergetic mix of rock, punk, funk. grunge and hip-hop.
If his latest release, 2019’s brilliant EP Cheering Bombs From Deckchairs is anything to go by, Newcastle punters are in for a real treat.
Given Ezekiel’s prolific output (since 2016 alone he has pumped out nine studio releases across his many projects), you never quite know what a show like this is going to throw at you, but you can be certain that it will be delivered with an unpretentious passion and dynamism.
That passion extends to life outside of the stage and studio, too with Ezekiel being a fervent anti racism and police violence campaigner as well as showing solidarity for refugees and First Nations people.
Catch Ezekiel Ox at the Wickham Park Hotel on Saturday 5 September. Bookings are essential so call 4965 3201 to reserve your spot.
