It’s been a minute. But we’d like to show you what the talented musicians of Newcastle and the Hunter of been working on.
“Meet the Family” is a concert series presented by the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music which is an opportunity for local school and community band members, friends, family and supporters, to reconnect through performance.
The first concert in the “Meet the Family” series, features:
– The Hunter School of the Performing Arts Stage Band
– Newcastle Grammar School’s “Brass Razoo” Big Band
– The University of Newcastle Jazz Orchestra
Each term features three different ensembles performing snapshots of their usual program in an effort to share the diverse array of music being presented within the Hunter Region.
