Boycott
we are a femme quartet out of the city of newcastle, australia.
making music and sounds that convey some of the ideas that run through our heads. observing society and the people we spend our lives next to.
our work is an articulation of everyday thoughts.
we see unity in the fact that the world is ever-changing and so are we.
we accept and are inspired greatly by punk history. for us, it’s future is not specific to the original sound.
we are in our final year of high school, essentially at the start of our lives. this is our beginning. thanks for popping by.

Hey Jan
Hey Jan – a blend of R&B, soul, jazz fusion, pop and quite possibly all things in between.
This 4-piece hails from Newcastle, more specifically so, the Newcastle Conservatorium.
Between classes and exams, the group would jam together, which eventually led to the creation of the EP’s first 2 tracks Shades of Blue, a soulful song delving into the light and shade of romantic relationships; and Sarah’s Jacket, a bubbly fusion piece to bop along to.
The bands line up consists of Matthew Kellehan on keys, Tom Lee on bass, Connor Ritchie on the kit and fronting the band, Zoe Hallam-Meyn on vocals. Hello January is our most intimate track on the EP, between the creaks of Matt’s piano, to the layering of vocals, this was a song to get you in your feels. The last song of the EP is Easily, it’s our favourite song to perform and was where we got our EP’s title – Anywhere. We hope for this upbeat tune, that it can be our audience sing-a-long anthem. We hope you guys enjoy Anywhere as much as we enjoyed creating it!
