LAST SUPPER: New Year’s Eve at 48 Watt Street with Kim Churchill
Frock up and say goodbye to 2018 with cocktails, canapés and live music at Newcastle’s 48 Watt St on New Year’s Eve 2018.
Last Supper is an informal cocktail soiree meets live music concept, set across two gorgeous spaces – indoors and outdoors, with endless seasonal eats and live music throughout the night culminating in very special performance by singer/songwriter Kim Churchill to bring in 2019.
Guests will enjoy all night grazing tables, 3 hours of canapés and a selection of local brews, wine and cocktails while soaking in the sounds of our favourite local songsmith’s before the main event.
Kim Churchill has achieved some incredible things in his short time as a professional musician. The former south coast busker is now recognised as much internationally as he is in Australia, having performed headline shows, festivals and supports alike all over the planet, including Glastonbury Billy Bragg, Falls Festival, Nahko and the Medicine People, Montreal Jazz, Telluride Blues, and a plethora of others. Known for his magnetic, dynamic stage presence, Kim unites lyrical artistry with fierce vocals; he is a sonic architect – using his guitar to create landscapes, which animate his lyrics.
Opening the evening on stage will be much loved Newy ex-pat Jason Lowe and popular local jazz singer Georgie Jones.
All tickets include sparkling on arrival*, all night grazing and 3 hours of hot, cold and dessert canapés.
*All other drinks are not included in the ticket price.
