Hunter Valley Cheesemaking Workshop
1:30 pm until 4:00 pm
Our Cheesemaking Workshop is a 2.5hr session covering the craft of cheesemaking. We will immediately commence the cheesemaking process, listening & learning as we work through the “make” steps. Questions are encouraged & our cheese experts will watch your progress & assist if required.
Participants will learn the origins of cheese, cheese ingredients, ripening principles, milk quality, cheesemaking, storing, cheese maturation & troubleshooting.
Our informative Cheese Appreciation Class is held while the milk “sets” this includes a Hunter Valley Cheese Flight Tasting, matched to wine, education on cheese varieties. Cheese selection at your deli or dining out. This tasting class is interactive, questions/comments are encouraged – we all learn this way.
Recipes & your cheese made on the day will be available to take home to enjoy with family & friends.
