East Coast Low (album launch) + The Howlin’ Rats
7:00pm - 10:00pmLink and Pin
18a Railway Street, Woy Woy, NSW, 2256
From the organiser...
Launching their long awaited 2nd LP, ‘Seas On Fire’, East Coast Low hits the Central Coast with steel city compatriots the Howlin’ Rats for a night of out of control rock and roll.
‘Seas On Fire’ represents more than just a step change for East Coast Low – it pulls in many elements from their pool of resources to present a diverse record that still maintains that ECL rock sound. Singer Spike draws things together with his gruff yet melodic vocal delivery that is the trademark of the group’s sound. LPs and CDs will be on sale on the night or can be ordered via https://crankinhausrecords.bandcamp.com once available.
The Howlin’ Rats sound has been likened to everything from a bluesy Kyuss …” almost stoner rock cool” … “a swampy dirge”… through to the likes of great Australian acts like the Cruel Sea and the Dirty Three.
