Dillybags 2 Ways


It’s always been here it’s just been sleeping, the grasses have been waiting for us.

This workshop is the 3rd in a series of 5x workshops.

Open to beginners, intermediate and master weavers, the workshop is recommended for adults and youth 14+.

Come and join our ‘Bright Light’, our Darkinjung/Wonnarua weaver and artist, Michelle Napanangka Earl.

Michelle’s unique workshops offer an opportunity to gain Cultural understandings passed down through hundreds of generations in sustainably collecting and the processing of local grasses for weaving.

During this workshop you will be supplied with natural grass and other material to finish 2x uniquely individual dillybags.

All equipment and morning tea is included along with fun, laughter and a little Aboriginal Culture thrown in while enjoying a relaxing afternoon surrounded by the beautiful Wollombi Valley.
