Civic Bar Beats is a series of free Friday night music sessions with a relaxed summer night vibe.

Featuring a great line up of talented local musicians we’ll be throwing open the doors from 5pm and inviting guests to drop in, either before a Civic or Playhouse show, or just because they want to enjoy the music, food and happy hour from 5-6pm.

Georgie Winchester
A fresh talent from Newcastle, Georgie Winchester has already developed her own acoustic folk sound. Drawing from luminaries like Stella Donnelley and Missy Higgins, Georgie has an extensive repertoire of original songs and well tailored covers. Whether she’s strumming her grand-father’s acoustic guitar or slamming on a keyboard she’s been playing since she was six you’re sure to hear more than a relatable tune from Georgie
