Featuring guitarist PJ O’Brien, Bass player Mike Rix, Drummer Greg Clark and Harmonica player Dan Sullivan in a superteam who has worked with some of Australia’s finest blues acts including The PJ O’Brien band, Alison Penney & the Moneymakers, 19 Twenty and The Jacky Howellers.
Supporting Artist; Woodie McClean has immersed himself in a rich paddock of Soul, Jazz, Blues, Country Rock, Americana and pop which underpins his debut ep “Words in Mind”. A wholesome glimpse into an emerging songwriter with a bittersweet benevolence.
Woodie McClean brings to stage his acoustic guitar and smooth vocals in a homage to soulful artists such as Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway and Allen Stone.
Bringing a collaborative nature to music, Woodie’s rich vocals have featured on former Grizzlee Train frontman, Brandon Dodd’s solo album “What a Way To Die”, and Molly Millington’s 2018 single, “Sinner” – each showcasing the depth and power the unassuming artist further explores in his own craft.
