Hang on to your pork pie hats, gig pigs.
Newcastle’s dancin-est outfit and one of its most legendary, The Porkers will headline a post-Christmas blowout at the Hamilton Station Hotel that is sure to be one for the ages.
If you’ve ever seen the Porkers in action, ripping into such timeless ska-punk classics as Earthquakin’, Schooners of the Black and Chemical Imbalance, you’d know that, even on an off night, Pete Porker, Bigfil and co are still one of the hottest bands on the scene.
While a local Porkers gig is always an event this one is made even more special with a bill featuring reunions from some of Newy’s bestloved acts.
Newcastle post-hardcore heroes Conation will be making a more than welcome return to the stage as will local indie punks Hot Girls.
Also making a return to the Staysh stage will be Newy-neo rock and rollers Cannon’s Mouth.
But wait, that’s not all! The bill will be rounded out by Run Squirrel, Misfits tribute Horror Business, Idle Threat, Rort Menace, Operation Ibis, Crucial Times, Billy Demos, Ceeps Noah Skape, and Jono Reed.
Festmas 2019 will be on at the Hamilton Station Hotel on Saturday 28 December. get your tickets here.
