EARP DISTILLING CO: What to try on your next visit

They call it Carrodise for a reason. And Earp Distilling Co. is just another reason to love our very own island suburb.

With the distillery and tasting bar launching their Spring menu we thought it was time for another visit and offer a few recommendations for your next visit.

If you don’t find anything on the list below that tickles your tastebuds, just tell the staff behind the bar what your palette desires and they’ll point you in the right direction.

The Absinthe Frappe

It smells as good as it tastes. The Earp Absinthe Frappe is bound to be one of their best sellers this summer. It’s refreshing and complex featuring absinthe, lime juice, pear and vanilla, with the herbaceous flavours of lavender.

A Vanilla & Bee Pollen Panna Cotta

The humble Italian dessert is taken to the next level here. Part of the Earp Distilling Co. Spring Menu you’d be mad not to save room after noshing down on a cheese plate for this flavour packed little gem.

A Russian Nut

While you could use Mel’s White Russian recipe to make your own at home, the Russian Nut made with 666 Autumn Butter vodka, Mr Black liqueur, macadamia milk, honey and fresh nutmeg should get you out your front door. It’s also the perfect accompaniment to the dessert above.

Port Stephens Oysters

How good is local produce! And if you’re partaking in an Earp Distilling Co. spirits tasting session, these are a must-have addition. Served classic, natural, or with limoncello mignonette.

A Whiskey Sour

While Earp Distilling knows how to make some of the best gin-based cocktails we’ve ever tried, they also know what to do with a bottle of whiskey. Their sour is honestly next level.
