Well, those burger alchemists over at Rascal have done it again, this time creating a special guest that really ties the room together.
Yes, that’s right, Big Lebowski fans. The Dude’s curmudgeonly and hunting vested sidekick Walter Sobchak is the inspiration for the popular burger haunt’s newest burger special
Despite the fact that Walter Sobchak is the kind of guy that can get you a toe by three o’clock, this burger is completely devoid of such nefarious accoutrements.
Instead, the highly palatable burger is a cross-cultural delight – marrying Jewish deli influences (a nod to Walter’s adopted religion), and the glorious burger heights of famed Californian fast food eatery In-N-Out Burger.
And the end result is one that Walter himself would definitely not mark zero.
A toasted sesame seed bagel envelops a wagyu patty, American cheese, Swiss cheese, pastrami, hollandaise, mustard, pickles and onions to create a burger guaranteed to have you bowling strikes all night long.
If you don’t want to be out of your element like Walter’s mate Donny, get into Rascal toot sweet and wrap your laughing gear around this number because it’s only here for a very limited time.
Rascal is located at 1/266 King Street Newcastle and The Corner Precinct, Charlestown Square.
