USE IT OR LOSE IT: Ideas for using your $25 Discover NSW Vouchers

If you’re like us, you’ve probably used at least one of your $25 Dine NSW Vouchers, but you’re still yet to find something to do with the Discover ones.

As the 30 June 2021 deadline to use the vouchers looms, we put out minds to some out-of-the-box ways we could use those $25 Discover NSW Vouchers in an effort to get out of the house and do our bit to stimulate the local economy.

Below you’ll find a few ideas we came up with.

Take a gin masterclass

Newcastle Afoot’s Gin Masterclass tour takes you on a juniper-filled walkthrough Newcastle. You’ll stop in at bars around the city where you’ll taste some gin cocktails and nibble on share plates. And with your dine and discover vouchers, it won’t break the band either.

Head to a gig

Many live music venues are accepting discover vouchers. So, you can save money on your next concert ticket, and in some cases cover the whole cost of entry to a gig. You can even use the voucher to drop the price of a ticket to Wollombi Music Festival!

Go to another world

Is Real-life getting you down? Do you need a change of scenery but you’re not keen on a road trip or a flight? Enter Charlestown based virtual reality experience, UnrealVR. You can use your discover voucher for a 30-minute virtual reality session or save some dollars on longer bookings.

Jump on a local bike tour

Newy Rides offer a bunch of great tour options. Whether you’re a foodie, coffee lover, art buff or a bronzed beachgoer you’ll find an urban exploration tour to suit you. And you can save a few dollars by using your Discover vouchers!

Hit the arcade

Load up your Timezone Powercard with one of your discover vouchers and hit the arcade games hard! And if you’re anything like us, you’re heading straight to the classics… The pinball machines, the hoops and of course the ultimate arcade game… skee ball!
