There’s no doubt that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but thanks to Guzman y Gomez it just got a little bit sweeter.
‘That’s because the popular Mexian eatery has just unleashed Churro Toast onto the general population.
Yep, that’s right! This Mexican-French inspired breakfast fever dream is a sweet tooth’s delight with two slices of sourdough bread, soaked in egg, before being fried and coated with a healthy dusting of cinnamon sugar.
To top it all off this brekky beast is served with the a Dulce De Leche sauce on the side that you can drizzle over this tempting morning treat or for dipping.
Now that should be enough to wake you up!
“We put Churro Toast into a couple of restaurants as a trial and sales exploded, it’s just that good,” GYG founder and CEO Steven Marks said.
“Imagine fresh French toast sprinkled with our cinnamon sugar and topped with Dulce De Leche sauce that tastes as good as it looks. The feedback we’ve received from guests has been mind-blowing.”
This sweet breakfast treat will set you back $6.50 and is only available until 10.30am at the following local locations – Heatherbrae, Rutherford and Warners Bay – as well as through the Guzman y Gomez app, and via delivery.
