DICE are bringing their high-energy indie-rock sound to Newcastle, with the Perth four-piece set to hit King Street Band Room as part of their national Altitude Tour.
The tour follows the announcement of DICE’s second album, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View, with the band preparing to take their new material around Australia alongside special guests Mid Drift and Ray and Paul.
Made up of Ben Hodge, Tom King, Regan Beazley and Sam Barrett-Lennard, DICE have built a reputation for music centred on connection, movement and living in the moment.
Their energetic indie-rock songs encourage listeners to ditch the everyday grind, get outside, dance, travel and embrace the chaos of being young.
Since releasing their ARIA-charting debut album Midnight Zoo in 2024, DICE have rapidly expanded beyond their Perth roots.
The band followed the record with the WINGS EP and spent 2025 taking their live show to larger stages around the world, including sold-out performances in London, New York, Toronto, Bristol, Denver, Amsterdam and Sydney.
DICE have also maintained a place among triple j’s Most Played Artists for three consecutive years, with tracks including Chasing Hearts, Alter Ego and Hourglass helping cement their reputation as one of Australia’s rising indie-rock exports.
Their second album promises another evolution in the band’s sound after a year spent recalibrating their musical direction.
DICE’s Altitude Tour arrives at King Street Band Room, Newcastle, on Friday 28 August, with doors at 7pm. Tickets are available now via oztix.com.au.
