Beaumont Street icon, The Kent Hotel will launch a brand-new area as part of their 99th Birthday Celebration this month.

The Deco Lounge will pay homage to the venueโ€™s rich and colourful history and features remnants of the 1989 earthquake that once destroyed the building.

Local soloist Sam Russell will kick off the Birthday celebrations. Party-goers will be welcomed with a complimentary sparkling wine, canapes and performance artists serving a selection of complimentary cocktails.

Tickets for the event are just $15 per person and they also get access to $10 Cocktail Classics until 10:00 pm.

“We are thrilled to reach this milestone in The Kent Hotel’s history,” Stephen Hunt, the Managing Director of Hunt Hospitality, said.

“This birthday celebration is a way to express our gratitude to our loyal patrons and celebrate 99 years of cherished memories. We invite everyone to join us as we raise a glass and celebrate The Kent Hotel’s vibrant spirit.”

The main event on Saturday is just the beginning of an action-packed birthday celebration with a range of exciting activities planned throughout the weekend.

The Kent Hotel’s legendary Karaoke night will be a huge part of the celebrations and the weekend will also see the introduction of The Kent’s Sundown Social.

The Kent Hotel will celebrate its 99th Birthday on Saturday, 22 July. And the new Sundown Social will launch on Sunday, 23 July. Tickets can be purchased from eventbrite.com.au.
