Hunter boutique festival Dashville Skyline has announced a second round of acts for 2016.
Henry Wagons & The Only Children join the line-up of the event affectionately known as the โCosmic Country Weekenderโ, a celebration of alt-country, Americana and psychedelia. Wagons dropped his solo record After What I Did Last Nightโฆ this year and is currently taking his suave country rock around America.
Jordie Lane will also visit the Hunter for Dashville Skyline. The acclaimed singer-songwriter this year released single โFrederick Steele McNeil Fergusonโ, a tribute to his great grandfather, a war veteran. Thereโs a new studio album in the works.
William Crighton and his band will return to Dashville Skyline, having proved the highlight of last yearโs inaugural event. His self-titled debut record was released in March to widespread critical acclaim.
The bumper second announcement also includes Sydney indie-rockers Spookyland, New Zealand punk-folk group The Eastern, Leah Flanagan, Tracy McNeil & the GoodLife, Jason Walker, singer-songwriter and Icecream Hands frontman Charles Jenkins, James Thomson & The Strange Pilgrims, Frank Sultana & The Sinister Kids, Magpie Diaries, William John Jr., Lyle Dennis Express and beloved supergroup Dashville Progress Society.
These artists join the first round of Skyline artists, which includes Australian legend Brian Cadd, San Francisco bluegrass folk band The Brothers Comatose, The Wilson Pickers, Melody Pool, Raised by Eagles and The Hello Morning.
Dashville Skyline is a celebration of Americana culture and will include a classic car and bike show, plus some supreme cuisine.
The family friendly camping event, which allows BYO into the camping area, runs over the October long weekend, starting on Friday, September 30 and finishing on the morning of Sunday, October 2 with a Bluegrass Breakfast.
