Since taking over professional football from the governing body in 2020, Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have delivered a new brand, a new competition, a major broadcast rights deal with ViacomCBS and significant capital investment from Silver Lake.
In January 2022 A-League Managing Director, Danny Townsend became the first CEO of the APL.
