Newcastle’s Connor Wink turns all four chairs on The Voice Blind Auditions

Newcastle’s singer, Connor Wink has turned all four chairs during his Blind Audition on tonight’s episode of the Australian singing competition television series The Voice.

After a short interview backstage, where Connor spoke about being blind and meeting his idol Cher, he was led to the stage for the big moment.

Armed with an acoustic guitar, Connor performed a stripped-back version of the Cher classic Believe.

Guy Sebastian, who Connor would ultimately choose to be his team mentor, was the first to turn his chair during the audition.

However, by the end of the song, all four judges had shown their support and turned their chairs for the local singer.

“Oh, wow,” he said after learning all four judges had turned.

Connor will now progress through to the “Battle” rounds of The Voice, which will air over the coming week on Channel 7. We wish him all the best.
