The dazzling light display, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest, is in full swing until 26 January 2025.
After all the rush of the festive season, a stroll through the magical enchanting showcase of over 4 million lights is just what the doctor ordered.

THE PIRATE SHOW
Set sail with the Little Scallywagz as Pirate Ted and his shipmates as they embark on an exciting quest to uncover Captain Long-Bottom’s long-lost treasure! Along the journey, there’ll be plenty of singing, dancing, and interactive fun, with catchy songs like “Walking the Plank,” “Shaking the Sand Away,” and “The Pirate Twist.” This lively, interactive adventure on the high seas promises to be a swashbuckling good time, perfect for the whole family! Don’t miss out on the fun!
THEMED ZONES
Get ready to step into a new magical world around every corner during your visit. Themed zones include Rocking Reindeers, Toyland, Festive Shores, Up Up & Away, Candyland, Fairyland, 12 Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland, and Christmas World will have you wide-eyed at every turn. And don’t forget to check out the spectacular 13-metre tall Christmas tree and the charming Mr. & Mrs. Claus installations at the Big Red Chair—perfect for some Instaworthy moments!
THE RIDES
The Hunter Valley Gardens’ Christmas Lights Spectacular offers an array of exciting rides perfect for all ages. Little ones and families will love the Tea Cups, where you can twist and twirl in vibrant, oversized cups for endless fun. Step back in time with a ride on the beautifully crafted Venetian Carousel, made in Italy and designed to enchant. For adrenaline seekers, the Swing Chair will have you soaring 11 metres above the ground, while the towering Superslide, standing 12 metres high and stretching 35 metres long, promises heart-pounding thrills as you race to the bottom on a mat. These attractions are the perfect complement to the sparkling lights!
THE FOOD
With so much excitement, you’re sure to work up an appetite! Luckily, the gardens offer a diverse range of food options to please every palate. Indulge in wood-fired pizzas, juicy burgers, loaded fries, or flavorful samosas.
