Former journalist, devoted mum, and one of Australia’s rising stars in the comedy scene, Chris Ryan will hit the stage at the Newcastle Comedy Club this Saturday.
In 2021, Chris earned a nomination for the Best Newcomer award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Two years prior, she claimed the coveted Best Newcomer title at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2019 and her laconic take on various aspects of life, from romance to dealing with passive-aggressive co-workers, has made her a favourite among audiences across the nation.
