Dan Sultan will headline a stacked lineup at a free riverside concert in Maitland this weekend.
Performing from a floating stage on the Hunter River, Dan will play a full 90-minute set on Saturday, 14 January, with support from Alex Lloyd.
The show is part of the Changing Tides event which kicks off on Friday, 13 January, with local acts CJ Stranger, Ben Leece and The Left of the Dial, and Johnston City.
An offshoot of Maitland’s popular LIVE at The Levee series, Changing Tides is a free, all-ages event.
“Weโre thrilled to bring back Changing Tides this weekend, after the success of the last yearโs pilot,” Maitland City Council Events Team Leader Kara Stonestreet said.
“This year weโve expanded the scope and scale โ music lovers are in for a real treat. The best part is, itโs free.
“What better way to enjoy a summer evening than sitting back and taking in some great tunes from homegrown Aussie acts, right here in the centre of Maitland, with the Hunter River as our beautiful backdrop.”
The floating stage will face the sloped riverbank and food trucks will be on-site offering dinner and drink options, in addition to the local restaurants and cafes that line The Levee.
