Country music star Tara Naysmith will host Cessnock Carols In The Park when it returns this December.
After a three-year hiatus, the much-loved event will once again bring the joy of Christmas to Cessnock Sportsground which will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display.
The alcohol-free event will also feature a 14-piece big band made up of talented musicians from across the Hunter led by Musical Director Greg Paterson.
Greg has been a part of the Cessnock Carols In The Park family for many years and is well known for his outstanding contribution to big-stage musicals and sell-out performances at Cessnock Performing Arts Centre.
“After a tough few years for our community, itโs great to have Carols in the Park back. An event like this is a perfect way to bring us all together and mark the end of the year. Weโre lucky to have such a wonderful event, with great family entertainment,” Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Jay Suvaal said.
And, of course, the night would not be complete without a visit from the man himself.
So best make sure you’re on the good list before the big night!
