Central Coast Council causing angst in the theatre community

Central Coast Council has attempted to allay fears that it’s planning to outsource the management of its theatres amid concerns within the local arts community.

Council revealed it was assessing the potential benefits and efficiencies of combining its three theatres “under the one operational model.”

Those three theatres are the Laycock Street Community Theatre, The Peninsula Theatre, and The Art House Wyong. Why is this causing angst within the theatre community? Gosford Musical Society President Roslyn English joined Tracy Mac on Newcastle in the Morning.
