Those lucky enough to have scored tickets to see Cat Stevens at Roche Estate in Pokolbin on 2 December have another reason to brag. They’ll be some of the the first live Audiences to hear songs from Cat Stevens’ new album, The Laughing Apple due for release this September.
The album will be released under Yusuf / Cat Stevens’ Cat-O-Log Records imprint exclusively through Decca Records, the same label that launched his career 50 years ago.
Yusuf produced The Laughing Apple with Paul Samwell-Smith, the original producer behind Yusuf’s landmark recordings, including Tea for the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat.
