They don’t call it Carrodise for nothing! And this April the Hunter’s favourite bowling club, Carrington Bowlo, is turning it up to eleven with a massive lineup of events.
From the very first annual CornFest to sports entertainment on the big screen and some of Newcastle’s most loved acts on stage, it’s going to be a big month for the club over the bridge.

CORNFEST

Great Southern Nights & Nudge Theory Group Presents Cornfest.
The first annual CornFest presented by Great Southern Nights & Nudge Theory Group. A corny time with music from Good Corn Liquor and The Chicken Train Skifflers, BBQ corn, popcorn snacks and Cornhole on the green!

UFC 273 LIVE ON THE BIG SCREEN

Alexander Volkanovski takes on Chan Sung Jung for the Featherweight Title at UFC 273. The Bowlo will be screening the fight live from VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida in the United States.

One of Newcastle’s favourite bands, The Milestones will be hitting the stage at the Carro Bowlo on Good Friday. The band play a lot of songs from the sixties complete with three-part harmonies and plenty of feel.

Newcastle’s very own Hot Rod Electric Dance Blues band. Guaranteed to switch on your musical energy, and drive your natural need to groove and dance.

VooDooDJs are back at Carro in April. Head down to the bowlo for an afternoon boogie and a brew while your kids run around in the sunshine! The lineup features DJs Mouts, Mince, Mathmatics and Tone.

MONTEZUMA
18 April 2022
This high energy three-piece band formed in the early ’90s and reformed after fans demanded to see the band back on stage. The new lineup feature John Larder on Guitar, Steve Geary on Bass and new drummer Tom Oliver.

ANZAC DAY

Carrington Bowling Club will host an ANZAC Day Dawn Service outside on the Bowling Green with the club open for members and their guests from 6am.
