GET OUTTA HERE: Caravan and Camping Expo rolls into Newcastle this weekend

The 2022 Caravan and Camping Expo will hit the Newcastle Entertainment Centre this weekend for three big days celebrating adventure in the great outdoors.

The expo will showcase the latest caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camper trailers, tents, camping equipment, 4WD accessories and a range of holiday park options.

Organisers, the Caravan & Camping Industry Association say the three days will people the perfect place to research, compare and discuss all aspects of the caravan and camping industry and gear up for their next adventure.

“Australia’s love of travel and the great outdoors has not dampened over the past 2 years, with a huge leap in the number of people taking caravan and camping holidays as COVID restrictions have eased,” NSW CEO of the Caravan & Camping Industry Association, Lyndel Gray said.

Taking place from Friday 4 February until Sunday 6 February the event hosts vast outdoor exhibitions in the Showgrounds as well as a huge range of exhibitors inside the Entertainment Centre.

“The beauty of the Newcastle Expo is that it provides a one-stop-shop where people can see some of the latest and best that the industry has to offer and get inspiration for new holiday destinations across NSW.

“This year there will be a guest appearance on Friday and Saturday by Publisher and popular TV personality Pat Callinan who is one of Australia’s best-loved 4×4, RV and camping experts.”

The 2022 Caravan and Camping Expo kicks off at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Friday 4 February.Tickets $16 for adults and $12 for concession. Entry is free for children aged 16 years and under when accompanied by a paying adult. Visit caravan.expo.com to purchase tickets.
