Brisbane’s Butterfingers will be back in town for a gig at The Newcastle Hotel on Friday, 17 August.
And just in case you missed the news, vocalist ‘Evil’ Eddie Mark Jacobson has uploaded a little video to remind you what’s in store.
You can check it out below.
Butterfingers hit the scene running in 2003 with their first two singles Everytime and I Love Work making the Triple J Hottest 100 for the year. The album Breakfast At Fatboys was released a year later and included the Triple J favourite, Yo Mama.
The follow-up album, The Deeper You Dig… was also an instant classic with the single “Get Up Outta The Dirt” and arguably helped paved the way for the vibrant Australian hip hop scene we have today.
In the video above ‘Evil’ Eddie promises a set filled with all your favourites and a few new tunes they’ve been working on.
Butterfingers will be supported by LHI and Newcastle punk rock outfit Hack The Mainframe for The Newcastle Hotel show. You can get your tickets here.
