Brunker Community Theatre’s newest production, The Children kicks off its season on 22 April.
Written by young English playwright Lucy Kirkwood, The Children focuses on two retired nuclear physicists, Hazel & Robin who are living in an isolated cottage; enjoying a quiet life of yoga & farming post a significant nuclear accident. Rose, a fellow nuclear physicist, suddenly turns up & their ordered existence is disrupted.
Director Meri Bird says the production features lots of humour, childlike behaviour and a love triangle!
