Following the departure of foundation guitarist Nic Wilson, in 2018, many surmised that indie rock mainstays British India were a spent force.
Thankfully, for fans of the band, they welcomed Jack Tosi into the fold last year and it’s been all systems go since.
Now, British India has announced they are making their way back to our neck of the woods, this time around blowing the doors of Shoal Bay Country Club.
It will be a welcome return to the Port Stephens venue for the four-piece, who last visited back in December 2018.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, thanks to the likes of such top 10 albums as Thieves, Avalanche, and Controller, British India has, quite rightly, earned a reputation as one of this country’s most respected rock acts.
That reputation extends to the live arena, too as anyone who caught British India’s set at The Cambridge’s boxing day blowout in December.
So, if you’re a fan of quality rock done right, you’d do well to get along to Shoal Bay Country Club on Saturday 5 April to see British India in action.
