Oz rock stalwarts British India will be bringing a fair amount of post-Christmas cheer to our part of the world, headlining a Boxing Day bill that’s fuller than most of us after the Yuletide feast.
Yep, that’s right. The I Said I’m Sorry hitmakers will be making a welcome return to the Cambridge stage for the venue’s Boxing Day Block Party.
“We’re opening early for a huge three-room party this coming Boxing Day, featuring a huge line-up of bands, DJs, cold drinks, car park hangs & more, Sunday School DJs on after-party duties afterwards,” an announcement post to Facebook read.
And they totally weren’t kidding about the huge lineup of bands.
Aside from British India, the festive fun will be delivered by Sydney based Thandi Phoenix, Melbourne rockers Bakers Eddy, local outfit Boi (who impressed with their turn at Saturday’s This That fest), Grace Turner, The Buoys, Eagle Eye Jones, Craterface, Garage Sale, Slapjack and Lili Crane.
How’s that for an awesome Chrissy present?
The Boxing Day Block Party will be on at The Cambridge Hotel on Thursday 26 December. Get your tickets here.
