Grammy-nominated artists, Jimmie Allen and Gavin DeGraw will headline the inaugural Boardwalk Country Music Festival when it hits Newcastle in April.
They’ll be joined by Australian music royalty Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers and The Buckleys in what promises to be a cracker of a day for local country music fans.
The Boardwalk Music Festival is a One World Entertainment concept that will see some of the most celebrated names in the Australian and international country music scene road-trip around the country.
Each stop of the tour will come to life with food trucks and pop-up boutique bars to complete the festival experience.
Gavin DeGraw’s is no stranger to country music fans here down under. His rise to fame began with the release of his 2003 hit album Chariot. Over the years, he’s continued to win over new fans with several Top 10s including a Grammy-nominated duet with Colbie Caillat.
Jimmie Allen’s debut album, Mercury Lane saw him shoot onto the American country scene like an absolute rocket. He’s been nominated for a Grammy and won awards from the CMA and ACM. Jimmie also co-hosted the ACM Awards and is currently on the road with Carrie Underwood for her Denim & Rhinestones tour.
The Boardwalk Country Music Festival featuring Jimmie Allen, Gavin DeGraw, Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers and The Buckleys will hit the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 18th April 2023. Tickets are on sale from Tuesday 14 February at 9.00am from oneworldentertainment.com.au.
