Newcastle’s craft beer lovers are in for another round of hoppy good times, with the return of the Crafted Beer Festival headlined by Brisbane surf-punks, Beddy Rays.
Now in its second year, Crafted’s frothy playground will bring more than 30 breweries, 250 brews, live music, food, and cocktails to town this November.
The beer lineup is already overflowing with both big-name players and local favourites. 4 Pines Brewing Co, Brookvale Union, Drink West, Six String Brewing Company, Range Brewing, and Sydney Brewery will join Newcastle talent like FogHorn Brewery, Good Folk Brewing, and Shout Brewing Co, alongside Nelson Bay’s Wooden Axe Brewing Co.
One of the festival newcomers, Accent Brew Co will bring some unique alcohol-free, hop-infused sparkling water to the festival taps and anyone looking beyond beer will be treated to deliciousness from outlets like Granddad Jack’s Cocktail Bar, who’ll be shaking and stirring creative concoctions all afternoon.
Festival-goers won’t be going hungry either. The Mexican Cantina, Lambda Sydney, Smokin Swine BBQ, The Burger Head, and G-free Donuts will all be serving up crowd favourites, alongside more vendors still to be revealed.
The soundtrack will be just as lively as the taps too. Brisbane surf-punks Beddy Rays are set to headline, supported by Le Shiv, Thirst Trap, Jet City Sports Club, and Loons. With additional acts yet to be announced, organisers say the stage will deliver the same good vibes and energy the festival has quickly become known for.
The Crafted Beer Festival will roll into Newcastle on Saturday, 22 November 2025. Tickets are on sale now via craftedfestival.com.au.
