Following months of lengthy delays with approvals, Good Folk will finally open its Beaumont Street brewery to the public.

Owners Phil and John Elsley, the same team behind Bartholomew’s and The Blind Monk, said that after a few test-runs the new venue will be ready to welcome guests this weekend.

โ€œItโ€™s been a long journey to get where we are. Thereโ€™s been some delays that were outside of our control, but itโ€™s finally come together,” John Elsley said.

The new venue, located adjacent to The Blind Monk, will feature a brewhouse in the front and a brewing facility at the back.

Open to the public 7 days a week, the Good Folk brewhouse and brewery in Beaumont Street will boast a selection of fresh craft beer and a kitchen open for lunch and dinner serving up handmade pizza, share plates and bar snacks.

And while the venue will be offering table bookings in the future, for December the owners have decided to take walk-ins only.

“We everyone to be able to enjoy our venue so rather than take bookings we thought weโ€™d just have walk-ins to start with. That way hopefully everyone gets the chance to come in and try our beer,” Mr Elsley said.

Good Folk Brewing will host its grand opening on Saturday, 3 December. You can find it at 80 Beaumont Street, Hamilton. Visit goodfolkbrewing.com.au for more information.
