NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELED. Local singer songwriter, Anthony Lee will bring his much-loved alter ego, Carlos Hopontopofus to the Kavon theatre restaurant in Hamilton this Thursday night (July 2) for a night of side-splitting laughter and cringe-inducing audience participation.
After appearing on many national television programs in the 80s and 90’s as a serious songwriter, Anthony Lee reinvented himself as a successful stand-up comic. Carlos Hopontopofus was legendary in the 90’s at Mummas Wog Rock Cafe and made audiences laugh at his ridiculous self-adoration, right back in the very same building where the Kavon is now.
The $30 entry to the show includes a generous meal with drinks available at club prices.
