Andrew Durante, the Joe Marston medal winner for best player in the 07/08 Jets grand final win will always be one of Newcastle’s favourite sons.
His football career has seen him travel from Sydney to Newcastle, and Wellington to Melbourne but at 39, he is hanging up his boots at the end of the season as the most capped A-League player ever.
