Andrea Bocelli brings Australian tour to Hope Estate in October

Esteemed Tuscan tenor Andrea Bocelli will head to the Hunter in October as part of his national tour.

The icon of Italian vocal tradition will perform his most loved soul-stirring arias, love songs and beloved crossover hits live on the Hope Estate stage with a 70-piece orchestra and 60-person choir.

“The Australian tour dates are not just concerts to me, they are opportunities for us to immerse ourselves in musical beauty on a grand scale,” Bocelli said.

“For these upcoming shows, my aim is to restore some serenity and enter gently into people’s hearts. If my previous tours are anything to go by, I’ve always found Australian audiences to be passionate, enthusiastic and friendly.”

For almost three decades Andrea Bocelli has been luring audiences traditionally focused on top 50 pop hits into the world of classical opera.

He’s sold over 90 million records, won a Golden Globe, picked up seven Classical BRIT awards and seven World Music awards and in 1999, Bocelli released Sacred Arias, which still remains the biggest-selling solo album in classical music history with over five million copies sold.

“I truly appreciate my generous and engaged Australian fanbase and am proud to be even a small part of the soundtrack to so many people’s lives.”

Andrea Bocelli will bring his Australian Tour to Hope Estate on Saturday 29 October Hunter Valley, Hope Estate. Tickets go on sale from Friday 17 June, at 1.00 pm. Head to ticketek.com.au for all ticketing and tour information.
