You’ve probably taken a ride on the shiny red tram running through Newcastle but have you ever ventured out on Newcastle’s Famous Tram?
Operated by Chris Kepreotes, this unique vehicle was built from scratch in 1994 and is a genuine replica of the original Newcastle working tram which was in service way back in 1923.
Operating weekdays and most weekends, the tram departs from Queens Wharf and heads out onto the streets of our fair city taking in key landmarks, the beaches and historical sites.
Like many locals, you may be thinking that a guided tour of your home town is not really your thing.
Well, how about enjoying a progressive dinner travelling aboard Newcastle’s Famous Tram? With stops at three of Newcastle’s favourite and most delicious venues?
We thought so!
Bookings for the progressive dinner are $120 each which includes:
– A glass of sparkling or a beer
– A selection of starters at The Edwards
– Main meal at The Burwood Inn
– Cocktail or dessert at The Happy Wombat
Bookings are open to groups of 10 people – perfect for friends, a family celebration or a team activity for a bunch of work colleagues.
