Alt-country outfit Adeline Pines have announced their Australian tour, hitting the road in support of their debut album Life Of Wires. The tour will be stopping in their hometown for a massive show at The Lass O’Gowrie on Friday September 2.
The band will be heading out on a five-date tour this August and September, giving fans a live taste of their new album. Released back in May, the album is a dynamic and emotional release from the band; ranging from the punk rock swagger of ‘Forest Fire’, to tender moments such as ‘Your Little Victories’
Joining them on the tour will be Adelaide’s Hyder Seek. Fronted by singer/songwriter Bec Stevens, the band have been capturing the hearts of all who come across them. Stevens recenty released her debut EP, packed with songs described by triple j’s Brudget Hustwaite as “So raw, so real and so relatable”
Joining them on the evening will Run Squirrel and The Delta Lions, two Newcastle bands who also both specialise in songwriting-driven, punk-tinged tunes. It’s sure to be a packed out night at The Lass
Forming in 2012, Adeline Pines centre on the songwriting talents of ex-Like…Alaska member Corey Price. Over the past few years the band have released two EP’s, toured up and down the East Coast, and supported acts such as The Smith Street Band, Bomb The Music Industry!, The Bennies, and The Hard Aches
Life Of Wires is available now digitally via bandcamp, and on a limited edition run of CDs and Cassettes, which the band will have at all shows this August and September. The album was recorded and mixed by Geoff Mullard at RTN Studios and mastered by Don Barkley at Benchmark Studios.
