Beloved Triple J breakfast duo, Adam Spencer and Wil Anderson will reunite for a live tour that hits Newcastle this December.
The First Time (In A Long Time) tour will see the duo reunite after two decades much to the excitement of a generation of listeners who tuned in religiously during their show from 1999 to 2004.
Expected to revive the wit and humour that made them household names, Newy can expect a nostalgic trip down memory lane as the pair bring their signature blend of comedy and chaos to the Civic Theatre.
“Working with Adam on Triple J in the early 2000s are some of my fondest memories and that is just the stuff I can remember,” Wil Anderson told Double J.
“I can’t wait to be back onstage with Adam talking about the old days, and hopefully he can fill in some gaps for me.”
The tour is expected to include a few of the on-air characters made famous during the show’s rein including the punk-obsessed Shannon from Cockatoo.
Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer will hit the stage at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle on 14 December. Tickets will be on sale from Thursday 29 August.
