Newcastle guitar master, Adam Miller features in the latest episode of That Pedal Show.
The hosts of the hugely popular YouTube show, Daniel Steinhardt and Mick Taylor, spent more than an hour chatting to Adam and listening to him play.
Known for his seamless fusion of jazz, blues, and progressive rock, Adam has carved out a name for himself not just in Australia but worldwide, especially with his signature blend of looping and self-accompaniment techniques.
On the episode, Adam explores his latest work, Gallery, revealing how his style has evolved from acoustic roots to a more electrified, innovative approachโdemonstrating, as always, his impeccable sense of tone and musicality.
During the episode, Adam also gets the chance to show off his new Nik Huber guitar by demonstrating how he achieves his layered textures and a distinctive tone without traditional tone control. He talks about why he now tours with an electric guitar set-up, gives insights into shaping sound for both solo and small-ensemble performances and uses effects and looping to mimic an upright bass or simulate entire rhythm sections.
It’s an incredible watch for guitar nuts and music fans alike.
