Central Coast based country rock outfit, Adam Eckersley Band walked away from last nights APRA Awards with the trophy for “Country Work of the Year” for their song, Give Her the World.
The “band of brothers” was spawned from the hard working, blue collared pubs of Newcastle and has since gone on to win a legion of fans and praise from music critics. With the release of their debut LP, The First Album, through Island Records and Universal Music in March 2014, the band instantly began making waves peaking at #1 on the iTunes Country Album chart and #5 on the ARIA Country Chart.
