Despite this neck of the woods experiencing quite the deluge over the weekend, thoughts of bushfires are still very much fresh in the mind.
Well, in that spirit, the Wickham Park Hotel will host a veritable who’s who of Newcastle music, all in the name of bushfire relief.
Yep, that’s right, after a couple of years away, Firebanned V is back for 2020 and when you’ve got such legends as DV8 main man Greg Bryce, the wonderful, Bob Corbett and the Roo Grass Band, and raucous rockers The Riff Raff lending their talents to the cause, you know it’s going to be a great day out.
If that wasn’t enough, the chockas bill will also feature the likes of Piper Butcher, The Rose Carleo Band, Viagro, Brien McVernon and the Rockets, Knight Moves, The Perpetrators, Kellie Cain, Glam Slam, Pow Pow, Tim Usher, Catfish Soup, Little Cents, Half Nelson, Bounty Hunters, The Rev. Jim Gordon Experience, Double Denim and Saylor & The Flavour!
How good is that?!?
But if you STILL needed prompting to get your fine self down to this charitable shindig, well the whole shebang only costs $10 AND you’ll be helping a worthwhile cause!
Firebanned V will be on at the Wickham Park Hotel on Sunday 1 March. Get your tickets here or from the venue.
