Golden Guitar nominations for Hunter country!

Three of Newcastle’s finest picked up nominations for the 2020 Golden Guitars and we’re as proud as punch!

Morgan Evans

While Morgan has become an international superstar, we still claim him as our very own Novocastrian.

This year Morgan was honoured with a number of nominations. He’s up for Toyota Album Of The Year, Apple Music Single Of The Year, Contemporary Country Album Of The Year & Male Artist Of The Year.

Lyn Bowtell

Lyn Bowtell would have to be one of the nicest people to ever walk through the door here at Newcastle Live, so we were absolutely stoked to see her work with Luke O’Shea recognized during this year’s award nomination announcement.

Luke O’Shea & Lyn Bowtell were nominated for both Vocal Collaboration Of The Year And Heritage Song Of The Year for their work on Sing Me A Story.

The Viper Creek Band

Finally… One of the hardest working bands this city has ever seen, The Viper Creek Band, pick up a nomination at the Golden Guitars.

They scored a nomination for Country Music Capital News Group Or Duo Of The Year, and we couldn’t be more happy for them.
